Many students are having difficulty accessing technology as we transition to online learning in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak.

However, this student in Naga City, Camarines Sur, was adamant about continuing her studies.

Carla Radores, a 20-year-old Grade 11 student, was photographed doing her modules on the floor of a footbridge in the dead of night in a now-viral photo.

She studied her schoolwork on the footbridge so she could utilize the wi-fi signal of a neighboring hotel, according to a story on “Unang Hirit.”

Radores also stated that she’s beating the deadline for the submission of her modules when she was photographed by their youth leader.

“Kakatapos ko lang kasi noon maghakot ng paninda po tapos last na para magsubmit kaya dinalidali ko na pong tapusin tapos wala po kasi kaming wifi kaya naisipan ko na dito po ako maggawa,” she added.

Thousands of netizens were inspired by Carla’s determination that’s why the student received a lot of help from generous individuals who learned about her plight. The Naga City government also pledged to free WiFi on the said area.
