Being a student in these days of COVID-19 crisis can be so difficult, what with no face-to-face classes being done. A lot of schools have implemented online classes, expecting students to have laptops and other gadgets they can use in their studies.

Elementary pupils and possibly high school students might be provided with printed learning modules but college students are expected to be online, whether using laptops or smartphones. But with computers being quite costly, a lot of students are facing the dilemma of being unable to go to school because they don’t have these gadgets.

Yet there are lots of Good Samaritans these days; people who willingly help others without asking for anything in return!

College student Justine Delima happily shares photos of the laptop he received from his professor, Ludendorffo Decenteceo.

According to the student, he was not able to enroll for the Midyear class at his school, University of the Philippines – Diliman, because he did not have any gadget to use for school. The laptop he had been using no longer functions, leaving him with no choice but to wait out the school year.

But when his professor learned of his predicament, apparently from his friends who told their teacher about his problem, the kindhearted teacher did not hesitate to immediately help the struggling college student!

To his surprise, Justine received a message from the teacher to pick up the laptop – and he happily rushed to the meeting spot to receive the item.

The student happily thanked the teacher in a post on Facebook, announcing that he is also sharing the laptop with his four siblings, one who is also in college, another one in senior high school, and two in junior high school. Surely, this laptop would be a great help for them all!
