As people grow older, we eventually become weaker and could lose control of our bodies.

There are a lot of old folks who find it difficult to hold objects because their hands shake too much and no longer have the energy to properly grasp things. This makes simple activities, such as eating, become very challenging for them.

In Qatar, a Jollibee service crew earned praise from netizens after he helped an old man who was having difficulties eating by himself.

Another overseas Filipino worker (OFW) working in Doha, Marie Grace de Jose, was dining at the Jollibee-Matar Qadeem branch in Qatar at the time when they noticed that the service crew was assisting the old man.

First, the service crew cut the old man’s meal; then, seeing that the old customer was unable to take the spoon to feed himself, the service crew did not hesitate to help him.

It was impressive how the service crew patiently fed the old man, focusing his attention on this customer even if he certainly had lots of other tasks to do.

Bida ang saya!!,” an impressed Marie Grace wrote on Facebook account.

Kudos to you Sir Russell Manalastas, service crew of Jollibee-Matar Qadeem branch. #jollibeeqatar #bidaangsaya”

The old man was dining by himself and was obviously having a difficult time, but thanks to Russell, he was able to eat.

After the meal, Russell and the shift manager even helped him up. They supported him all the way out of the store to perhaps hail him a cab that would bring him back home.

It was obvious that this old man was a regular customer by the way the service crew and the manager readily helped him even if he didn’t ask. These are truly wonderful Pinoy guys!
